Other Projects... [Apr. 12th, 2006|10:22 pm] So, in talking to my pals at EBU (who are practically impossible to track down, man those bunnies stay busy over there) I have met some amazing people and heard some incredible stories. For one, I have grown to know a little better my dear fellow friend, nixthebunny. (Shhh don't tell anyone that this bunny is involved over at EBU!)  This little cottontail has been working on some independent film stuff and I think is trying to get into the Cosmos International Film Festival -- but either way the work is great!  In our talking, I am really hoping that cute little Nix will ask me to help on some of this stuff.  Secretly, I have always wanted to go into acting -- and since EBU is going to try to get our hours cut down (or else this little bunny might start working for EBU!) I may finally have time to pursue my secret dreams!!!  But on another note, a shipment of eggs went missing (I think around the Turlington Plaza area?).  Apparently it is causing a big ruckus at work.  For some reason, some of the bunnies think that it is okay to take the eggs and use them to send messages to each other...? With the way we are treated at DEBA, with barely being able to talk and all, I don't blame them, I'm just glad that I was not involved in this one.  Although for some reason I will probably get blamed, as usual. I do feel sorry for the poor souls that made this mistake, from what I've heard they are pretty furious over at DEBA.  I am guilty, however, of stealing excessive candy just like this dear pal - man I wish I could meet this one, seems like a real character and I think we would really get along.  Anyway, I'm going to go have some carrots and lettuce and hopefully head to bed before getting up at some ridiculous hour of the morning.  Hops and hugs. Well then... [Mar. 10th, 2006|10:09 pm] [ Current Mood | contemplative ] So it came to my attention that it is not just my near and dear friends anymore that are reading my journal, so many of my personal feelings have been omitted. After all, what can you say when you know that one of your administrator's is sorting through your entries and making judgment on your character based on what you say!? Alright, fine. I can't go on avoiding the subject. I cannot believe DEBA. Their cracking down so hard on all of us now that the time is getting closer and closer to the big day is beginning to get absolutely ridiculous.  They expect us to have no lives outside of work.  You know what?  All along I did not understand why bunnies like this one get so gloomy or bunnies like this one want to be anything BUT Easter Bunnies.... but now it is all beginning to make sense.  The grueling working conditions they put us through and the long hours we endure doing the same tasks over and over, then the fact that they don't want us to find love -or friends, for that matter -outside of work (because, of course, that would take away our focus).    I had always thought that the good old furry guys trying to get everybunny to "convert to their side" and support unionization were crazy, but now I think they are right.  I have a few good friends who I might get in touch with that have some connections over there.  (Although who can say they have "good" friends anymore when they don't have any time to talk to them!) Which, by the way, I heard that the good bunnies over at EBU are currently working on a worker's compensation case about somebunny who inhaled too much paint fumes from Easter egg painting.  I hope he is alright, although I know his job probably isn't.  There was a big argument about it at work over keeping it under wraps and some comment about him not "being fit to be an Easter Bunny."  I think they have officially moved him to the Plastics Department (working strictly with plastic eggs).  How depressing. ONLY THREE MONTHS UNTIL EASTER! [Jan. 16th, 2006|10:45 pm] [ Current Mood | cheerful ] So here I am, finally starting a journal. I have been avoiding making one for so long because I knew that as soon as I did I would end up on here all the time. And, since the most amazing holiday of the year is only three horrendously short months away, I have no time for slack. Although, with the constant development of technology, it would seem that the internet poses quite an interesting addiction. So I have decided that you all, as my dear furry friends, deserve to hear at least a little bit about what is going on in my life aside from work. (And hopefully you all will follow suit so I can read about your precious lives as well... some of you in particular!) I did, however, find it rather annoying that in order to sign up for this thing it required a gender, and it only gave me the option of male or female! Don't they know that we don't all follow the same "gender constrictions" as they do? Whatever... Anyway, I figured out how to add a user pic (it should be in the corner of your page). But, that's about all I have time for today. I have more egg painting to get to (ugh). At least I got new colors (they are neon!)
