DEBA Rules and Forms |
Easter Bunny SocializationEaster Bunnies are lonely creatures by nature. Our work demands all of our time and it demands absolute commitment. It also demands that we work alone, burrowing, making eggs, and hiding eggs. Socialization outside of pre-approved, pre-selected socialization periods is unacceptable. Easter Egg RulesAll eggs must be filled with delicious candy. Only if a child has express medically required alternatives should sugar free or other versions of candy be substituted. If a child has overly strict nutrition guidelines and cannot eat candy, then a suitable toy equivalent can be allowed if the Easter Bunny first contacts and receives DEBA approval. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should any Easter Egg ever be filled with non-candy food or healthy messages. We represent a fun-loving holiday, not a diet plan. Those breaking this rule, like the bandit dubbed "Healthy Bunny" are in direct violation of DEBA policies. All eggs may contain toys or other happy Easter messages. Eggs can NEVER be used for personal communication or political messages. Again, "Healthy Bunny" leaves messages about exercising, like "Exercise: 90 minutes 3 days a week to lose weight, 30 minutes for general health." This is absolutely unacceptable unless those messages are framed within Easter fun, like the classic "Keep Hoppin'." Easter Bunny TerminologyWhenever possible, refer to Easter Bunnies in plural to avoid that bothersome gender confusion (to other magical creatures, please remember that not all magical creatures are gendered or sexed similarly, and Easter Bunnies don't have sexes at all). Also, please use the cutest language possible, using pronouns like "cottontail, hopper, jumper, bunny" and others to cute-ify all correspondence. For more information or to report Easter Bunnies in defiance of DEBA rules, contact DEBA's official affairs via email: easterbunn@gmail.com
